Introduction to Greenhouse Gas Reporting

Provides you with the basic knowledge and understanding to organizations quantify GHG emissions 

Course Objective

The programme aims to provide participants with learning how to:

  • Basic concepts related to GHG emissions;

  • Understanding of GHG Accounting & Reporting Principles;

  • Main methodologies and tools (ISO14064, GHG Protocol, IPCC);

  •  Definition of organizational and operational boundaries;

  • Definition of scopes 1, 2, and 3;

  • Identification of emission sources;

  • Identification of reduction opportunities (e.g. carbon credits);

  • Reporting GHG Emissions

Target Learners

Carbon auditors, ISO 14064 implementation officers, consultants and auditors; delegates responsible for corporate social responsibilities and sustainability issues; delegates responsible for carbon accounting; and delegates with a heart to do something for mother earth and coming generations.

  • Two day classroom based training 

  • Facilitated by experienced trainers

  • Conducted by lecture with exercises to further
    assist the participant to understand the GHG reporting concept.

  • Provides basic introduction to GHG, the understanding of GHG emission, scopes and boundaries, quantifying an organization's GHG emissions, and identifying specific company actions or activities aimed at improving GHG management
