Covering a wide-range of prevalent topics such as ESG awareness and strategy, sustainability reporting, business action based on UN Sustainability Development Goals (SDG) etc., the trainings can be delivered either in a classroom or online environment.

All the training courses are registered with the Malaysian Human Resource Development Corporation and HRDF claimable.

Environmental, Social, Governance (ESG) Awareness

(1- Day Training)

This course aims to provide participants with knowledge and understanding on:

  • Define what ESG is and associated criteria

  • Identify the drivers and challenges of ESG criteria implementation

  • Recognize the ESG risks and opportunities associated with the drivers and challenges

  • Understand the integration of ESG into strategy, by identifying how these can be aligned to business processes

Environmental, Social, Governance (ESG) Strategy & Fundamentals

(Half - Day Training)

This course aims to provide participants with knowledge and understanding on:

  • Explain and understand the aims of ESG

  • Explain the importance of ESG, including identifying drivers, challenges, to the business

  • Understand how to build an ESG strategy

  • Consider implications for ESG management and disclosure

Setting Sustainability Goals and Strategies

(1 - Day Training)

This course aims to provide participants with knowledge and understanding on:

  • Material matters

  • Setting goals and strategies for material matters

  • The roles and responsibilities of relevant functions involved in achieving goals and strategies

  • The role of stakeholders in the goal and strategy setting process

  • Monitoring the achievement of set goals and strategies

This course aims to provide participants with knowledge and understanding on:

  • The concept of materiality

  • The context of the organization

  • The role of stakeholders in the materiality process

  • Environmental, economic and social (EES) aspects and impacts

  • Assessing materiality and determining sustainability risks and opportunities

  • Approaches to presenting materiality

(Half - Day Training)

This course aims to provide delegates with knowledge and understanding on:

  • The concept of sustainability and its value

  • The key elements in sustainability reporting

  • Bursa’s amended listing requirement relating to sustainability disclosures

  • Sustainability related principles applicable to business strategy and steps to institutionalisation

Business Action on UN SDGs

(2 - Day Training)

This course aims to provide participants with knowledge and understanding on:

  • The concept of sustainability, SDGs and initiatives such as ISO 26000, UN Global Compact etc.

  • The negative/positive impacts of your organization’s activities on the economy, environment and society (EES impacts) as well as the resulting risks and opportunities

  • Identifying and prioritizing relevant SDGs and Targets

  • Setting your goals and targets aligned with the SDGs

  • Monitoring and communicating the progress of goals and targets

Sustainability Reporting for Practitioners

(2 - Day Training)

This course aims to provide delegates with knowledge and understanding on:

  • The concept of sustainability and its value

  • The key elements in sustainability reporting

Introduction to Greenhouse Gas Reporting

(2 - Day Training)

The programme aims to provide delegates with learning how to:

  • Basic concepts related to GHG emissions;

  • Understanding of GHG Accounting & Reporting Principles;

  • Main methodologies and tools (ISO14064, GHG Protocol, IPCC);

  • Definition of organisational and operational boundaries;

3-Day Training

This course aims to provide delegates with knowledge and understanding on:

  • The current climate of international and local business is requiring companies to be more transparent and to consider the full impact of their policies and activities.

  • Knowledge of the GRI Standards and reporting to facilitate their use within your organization.

  • How to implement GRI Standards which aims to improve the quality of disclosure and reporting.

  • Four fundamentals courses in the GRI sustainability reporting process, focusing on local sustainability issues throughout.
